iPeople, Inc. announced earnings results for the third quarter ended September 30, 2019. For the third quarter, the company announced net income was PHP 197.189 million compared to PHP 57.157 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share was PHP 0.2252 compared to PHP 0.0763 a year ago. For the nine months, net income was PHP 137.486 million compared to PHP 122.585 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share was PHP 0.1547 compared to PHP 0.1637 a year ago.
iPeople, inc. is a holding and management company. The Companyâs main operating subsidiaries are the Malayan Education System, Inc. (Mapua University), National Teachers College (NTC), University of Nueva Caceres (UNC) and Affordable Private Education Center, Inc. (APEC). Mapua University also has three main wholly owned subsidiaries, including Malayan Colleges Laguna, Inc. (MCL), Malayan High School of Science, Inc. (MHSS) and Malayan Colleges Mindanao, Inc. (MCM).
