Integrated Microelectronics, Inc. Announces Executive and Directorate Changes, Effective June 23, 2016

Integrated Microelectronics, Inc. informed that its Board of Directors, at its regular meeting held on June 23, 2016 elected its Global Chief Operating Officer, Mr. Gilles Bernard as director and President of the Company. He succeeded Mr. John Eric T. Francia as director and Arthur R. Tan as President. As President, Mr. Bernard will be responsible for the day-to-day implementation of its strategy, policy and vision, and for achieving its overall targets. On the other hand, Mr. Tan will continue to be its Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Executive Committee, taking care of long-term strategy formulation and overall direction setting. Mr. Tan's role in the Ayala group has been expanded to include overseeing the automotive manufacturing, dealership and distributorship businesses of Ayala Corporation and, in this connection, he was recently appointed as the Vice Chairman of Ayala Automotive Holdings Corporation. Also at its regular meeting, the Board elected Ms. Joanne M. Lim as Assistant Corporate Secretary to replace Ms. Charlene Mae C. Tapic-Castro who has resigned as such. Ms. Lim, Filipino, 33, is a Counsel at Ayala Group Legal. Prior to joining Ayala Group Legal in 2015, she was a Project Legal Advisor for CFT Transaction Advisors. She served as Director of the Legal Affairs Office of the Department of Finance from 2011 to 2013 and was an Associate at SyCip, Salazar, Hernandez & Gatmaitan Law Offices from 2007 to 2010. This also serves as the disclosure of the resignation of Mr. Francia as director, Mr. Tan as President and Ms. Castro as Assistant Corporate Secretary. Their resignations were not due to any disagreement on matters between
any of them and the Company's Board or management.
Integrated Micro-Electronics Inc. (IMI) is a provider of electronics manufacturing services (EMS) and power semiconductor assembly and test services.
