Infinis announces commercial operation of A'Chruach Wind Farm

Infinis Energy ("Infinis"), the UK's leading independent generator of renewable power, is pleased to announce that construction of its A'Chruach Wind Farm has been completed and the site is now fully operational.

The Wind Farm is located in Argyle and Bute, Scotland, and has an installed capacity of 43MW. The site consists of 21 Senvion turbines and power will be purchased by AXPO under a long term PPA.

Eric Machiels, Chief Executive of Infinis, said:

"We are pleased to add the beautiful A'Chruach wind farm to our portfolio, having completed construction on schedule and on budget. A'Chruach becomes our largest wind farm and takes our installed operational onshore wind capacity to a total of 317MW.

"We are proud to be able to make a further significant contribution to reducing the UK's carbon emissions and look forward to making similar progress with our remaining 3 construction Wind Farms later in this financial year."
