Hunas Falls Hotels PLC reported unaudited earnings results for the third quarter and nine months ended December 31, 2017. For the quarter, the company reported revenue of LKR 27,815,000 compared to LKR 31,956,000 a year ago. Loss before tax was LKR 3,517,000 compared to LKR 3,131,000 a year ago. Net loss was LKR 3,648,000 or LKR 0.65 per share compared to LKR 3,131,000 or LKR 0.56 per share a year ago.
For the nine months, the company reported revenue of LKR 93,688,000 compared to LKR 113,117,000 a year ago. Loss before tax was LKR 6,915,000 compared to profit before tax of LKR 3,945,000 a year ago. Net loss was LKR 7,046,000 or LKR 1.25 per share compared to net profit of LKR 3,945,000 or LKR 0.70 per share a year ago. Net cash flows from operating activities were LKR 7,637,000 compared to LKR 11,630,000 a year ago. Acquisition of property, plant & equipment was LKR 2,169,000 compared to LKR 1,353,000 a year ago.
