Shipboard Applications

Mr. Losada will discuss how shipboard satellite communications are critical to maintaining net-centric operations during missions. He also will discuss shipboard applications that provide communications for sailors' morale, enabling them to keep in touch with families and friends while deployed, while concurrently maintaining the enhanced security needs of the military. In addition, Mr. Losada will address how Hughes and the satellite industry are supporting the military and preparing to help it meet its future net-centric tactical communications needs while at sea, in air, or on land.
