Home Point Capital : Homepoint’s Lesley Alli and Brooke Lapides Named Winners of NEXT’s Powerhouse Award

ANN ARBOR, MI, August 9, 2021 - Two Homepoint associates-Lesley Alli, Senior Managing Director of Strategic Partnerships, and Brooke Lapides, Managing Director of Portfolio Strategy-were named winners of the NEXT 2021 Powerhouse Award. The award recognizes 40 women mortgage professionals who advanced the mortgage industry in the past year.

Alli, a six-year veteran of Homepoint, manages secondary market business partnerships including the GSEs/agencies, private investors, mortgage insurers, and trade associations to advance Homepoint's strategic objectives.

Lapides, who has been at Homepoint for one year, played an integral role in installing a new point-of-sale system for Homepoint's Consumer Direct channel. The system has enabled Homepoint to deliver a more seamless experience for its associates and customers.

NEXT's 2021 Powerhouse Awards recognize mortgage women who have identified a challenge or problem in their company or in the industry, and are taking the initiative to solve the issue. The challenge could be related to any of the many issues that arose in the mortgage industry over the past year, including pandemic-related issues, issues related to industry trends, issues related to the nation's increased focus on diversity, or other important issues.
