Hiscox Ltd. has appointed Todd Isaac as its new Chief Investment and Treasury Officer for the Group. In this role, Todd will be responsible for overseeing the management of the Group's $7.1 billion of assets, implementing overall investment policy and directing all portfolio management, research, trading and strategy. He will also be in charge of Treasury and Corporate Finance activities in order to dynamically manage asset liability risk and portfolio liquidity.

Todd will lead a team of 10, be based in London and report to Paul Cooper, Group Chief Financial Officer. Todd brings over 30 years of investment and treasury experience to Hiscox, in addition to substantial international experience - having worked in a range of markets including North America, the Middle East, East Asia, the UK, and Bermuda. He joins Hiscox from Monument Re, where he was Deputy Chief Investment Officer for Europe and oversaw portfolio construction, manager selection and Committee and Board contributions for the reinsurer's European subsidiaries.

Prior to Monument Re, Todd spent time at Blackrock, where he focused on business development for the Bermuda and UK PC sector; Hyperion, where he served as Global Treasurer; Endurance, where he was Treasurer; and Zurich as VP of Investments.
