The FIA World Rally Championship (WRC), will be live and exclusive on COSMOTE SPORT channels until 2025, as COSMOTE TV has renewed its broadcast rights for the major motor sport events for three more years. Furthermore, all the action from the FIA World Rallycross Championship (World RX) and FIA European Rally Championship (ERC) will also be part of COSMOTE TV's exclusive TV portfolio until 2025. In the framework of the agreement, viewers will enjoy exclusively on COSMOTE SPORT channels, more than 200 hours of live programming per season.

The new season of the WRC starts on January 20
The first of the WRC's 13 rounds for the season will be held, as per tradition, in Monte-Carlo, from 20 to 23/1. COSMOTE TV subscribers will have the opportunity to watch on COSMOTE SPORT 5HD the exciting "battles" between the drivers, with the first special stage on Thursday (20/1, 21.00, COSMOTE SPORT 5HD) being simultaneously broadcast on COSMOTE TV's official YouTube channel.

All the stars will be participating in the 50th season of the event, such as 8-time World Champion Sébastien Ogier, Thierry Neuville, Ott Tänak, Elfyn Evans, Acropolis Rally 2021 winner Kalle Rovanperä, Oliver Solberg, Craig Breen, and 9-time World Champion, Sébastien Loeb.

The Acropolis Rally on COSMOTE TV in 2022
This year's Acropolis Rally stands out in the WRC calendar once again. The 'Rally of the Gods' will be held from 8 to 11 September and the COSMOTE SPORT channels will broadcast the excitement live and exclusively, from the special stages of the 4-day competition.

FIA World Rallycross Championship (World RX) & FIA European Rally Championship (ERC)
COSMOTE TV also extended its partnership with FIA World Rallycross until 2025. The event combines asphalt and dirt circuits, providing a unique spectacle with vehicles with more than 600 horse power and the highest acceleration in the world. This year's season includes a total of 12 rounds, while for the first time in the history of the dual-surface discipline, the top tier will be electricity-based.

At the same time, through the agreement with the European Rally Championship (ERC), motor sport lovers will also have the opportunity to watch action from the event on COSMOTE SPORT channels, with the participation of many noteworthy drivers who either didn't make it onto one of the manufacturer teams, or who want to stay in racing shape in view of their return to the WRC. On its 70th anniversary this year the ERC will commence in Portugal over the weekend of 12-13 March.

The extensive motor sport programming on COSMOTE SPORT channels is complemented by the 'Grand Prix' show (every Sunday on COSMOTE SPORT 5HD). The show informs racing fans about all developments in the most popular motor sport championships, while special emphasis is put on the coverage of Greek championships and Dirt Games.
