Greenlam Industries Ltd. Announces Unaudited Standalone Earnings Results for the Third Quarter and Nine Months Ended December 31 2015

Greenlam Industries Ltd. announced unaudited standalone earnings results for the third quarter and nine months ended December 31, 2015. For the quarter, the company reported revenue of INR 2,409 million, EBITDA of INR 339 million, profit from operations before other income, finance costs and exceptional items of INR 247.542 million, EBT of INR 189 million and net income of INR 117 million as compared to revenue of INR 2,148 million, EBITDA of INR 229 million, profit from operations before other income, finance costs and exceptional items of INR 136.790 million, EBT of INR 69 million and net income of INR 47 million for the same period last year. Diluted EPS before and after extraordinary items was INR 4.84 against INR 1.97 a year ago.
For the nine months, the company reported revenue of INR 6,880 million, EBITDA of INR 880 million, profit from operations before other income, finance costs and exceptional items of INR 643.520 million, EBT of INR 438 million and net income of INR 273 million as compared to revenue of INR 6,134 million, EBITDA of INR 701 million, profit from operations before other income, finance costs and exceptional items of INR 463.293 million, EBT of INR 276 million and net income of INR 219 million for the same period last year. Diluted EPS before and after extraordinary items was INR 11.31 against INR 9.08 a year ago.
Greenlam Industries Limited is an India-based company, which is engaged in the business of manufacturing laminates, decorative veneers and allied products through its factories at Behror and Nalagarh. The Company manufactures compact panels, cladding solutions, restroom cubicle / locker solutions, kitchen solutions, decorative veneers, engineered wooden flooring, staircase solutions and engineered wooden door sets, in addition to a range of decorative laminates. It operates through three segments: Laminates & Allied Products, Veneers & Allied Products, and Plywood. Laminate & Allied Products segment is engaged in the business of manufacturing of laminates, compact laminates and other allied products. Veneer & Allied Products is engaged in the business of manufacturing of decorative veneers, engineered wood flooring, engineered door sets and door leaf, and other allied products. The overseas subsidiaries of the Company are mainly engaged in the marketing and distribution of its product.
