GET (3519TT) is awarded the title "Red Dot" for high design quality of its light weight "Waveguide Solar Module"

Dear investors and analysts:

We would like to share with you that GET (3519TT) is awarded one of the winners of "Red Dot Award: Product Design 2016" for GET Waveguide solar module jointly developed with Gixia.

The light weight solar module, instead of packing with conventional soda-lime glass, composed of waveguide material, solar cell and ultra-light support. The waveguide material reduces the possible PID (potential induced degradation) risk, enables the modules to apply on facades and increases energy absorption rate of diffused light by 5%~10%, therefore generates 10% more power output during early morning and late afternoon. It reduces the weight to 50% of conventional module, with minimum height of 15mm.

The Waveguide solar module is suitable for high-level rooftop and building integrated markets which expected to grow globally. China National Energy Administration officers introduced recently China's 13th Five-Year Plan, guiding that distributed solar energy will be one of the major powers to grow. Also, FIT for household under 10kw solar projects in Japan is comparatively higher than non-household ones.

With integration of GET high-end wafer and solid supports from Tatung Group solar systems, GET is aggressively mapping out the Company's module business. The waveguide module is planned to sell in second half of 2016 to position in high-end global market.
