Serious Incident at Grange Resources' Savage River Mine

Grange Resources Limited ("Grange" or "the Company") has confirmed that a specialist contractor has been involved in a serious safety incident at the Savage River Mine's North Pit in north west Tasmania.

The incident occurred on Friday 17 March 2017.

Grange is working with WorkSafe Tasmania as part of the investigation into the incident, and is providing support to the contractor's family, the company's workers and its extended community.

The mine's operations have resumed in South Deposit which is five kilometres away from the site of the incident and thus not impacting on the ongoing investigation.
