Glatfelter (NYSE: GLT) today announced that Michael L. Korniczky has been appointed Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary, effective immediately.

Mr. Korniczky most recently served as the Chief Administrative Officer, General Counsel and Secretary for Graham Packaging Company, a $2.8 billion global producer of custom blow-molded plastic containers. Previously he served as Assistant General Counsel at Crown Holdings, Inc., a $7 billion Fortune 500 consumer packaging manufacturer. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineering from the Polytechnic Institute of New York University, a Juris Doctor degree from Whittier College School of Law, and a Master of Laws in Intellectual Property Law from John Marshall Law School.
