Ghazi Fabrics International Limited announced unaudited earnings results for the third quarter and nine months ended March 31, 2018. For the nine months, the company reported sales net of PKR 2,686,134,847 against PKR 3,372,569,023 a year ago. Operating loss was PKR 63,053,014 against PKR 102,387,659 a year ago. Loss before taxation was PKR 144,865,191 against PKR 216,383,402 a year ago. Loss after taxation was PKR 186,132,312 against PKR 271,930,352 a year ago. Basic loss per share was PKR 5.70 against PKR 8.33 a year ago.
For the quarter, the company reported sales net was PKR 969,021,820 against PKR 1,006,316,850 a year ago. Operating loss was PKR 42,215,113 against operating profit of PKR 12,536,227 a year ago. Loss before taxation was PKR 65,221,568 against PKR 47,521,556 a year ago. Loss after taxation was PKR 59,992,632 against PKR 55,344,145 a year ago. Basic loss per share was PKR 1.84 against PKR 1.70 a year ago.

The Company's segments include Spinning and Weaving. The Company's products include Yarn and Fabric. Its Yarn range of products include Poly-Cotton (PC), Chief-Value-Cotton (CVC), Combed PC and CVC yarns, Pure Polyester yarns, Core-spun yarns (using Dupont lycra or Spandex), Doubled yarns, Cotton/Nylon yarn various blend ratios. Its Fabric range of products include Twills, Drills, Satins, Sateens, CVC Twills, Stretch Twills (lyrca and spandex), Bedford Cords, Pique Fabrics, Herringbone Twills, Broken Twills, Corduroy, Bull Denim, Slub Twills, Slub Denim, Stretch Denim, Cotton Sheeting, Percales, Muslins, Burberry, Canvas, Matt Weaves, Oxfords Pinstripes and Dobby Designs.
