GelTech Saddened by the Loss of Michael Cordani, Its CEO and Chairman

JUPITER, FL--(Marketwired - Jan 22, 2014) - GelTech Solutions, Inc. (OTCBB: GLTC) (OTCQB: GLTC), creators of FireIce, a revolutionary water enhancing fire suppressant that has the potential to change current firefighting techniques, deeply regrets to announce the passing of Michael Cordani, its Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Board.
Michael was a determined, upbeat and tireless leader of GelTech and promoter of its FireIce and Soil2O products since 2006 when he co-founded the Company with his brother Peter. Michael had the unique ability to be as comfortable speaking to Wall Street as he was with talking racing at an NHRA event. He faced his illness with the same strength, determination and sense of humor he brought to business. We will miss Michael, but his spirit will live on in all of us who knew him. Peter Cordani, GelTech's President and Chief Technology Officer will continue as acting Chief Executive Officer while the board determines a successor.
Funeral services for Michael will be held at St. Edward's Catholic Church, 144 North County Rd., Palm Beach, Florida, Saturday January 25, 2014 at 10:00 A.M.
