The Armed Forces & Veterans Group safeguards its new Privilege Card and Rewards Scheme with GB Group's ID Verification tool

, a global leading Identity Management business, has been selected by the (AFVG) to provide its award winning ID Verification service for the newly launched AFV Privilege Card and Rewards Scheme. The scheme will be available for Serving men and women, veterans and their families and supports the 'Armed Forces Covenant' which sets out the Government's Policy aimed at improving the support available for the Armed Forces community.

The AFVG along with Edenred and GB Group, have launched an initiative based on a pre-paid MasterCard® which generates revenue that will assist with funding an MOD sponsored programme that aims to help young veterans re-integrate back into civilian society. The scheme is known as 'The Future Horizons Programme'.

The Privilege card will enable holders to confirm eligibility for discounts and other universal benefits, so it is absolutely vital that we have a robust ID Verification customer onboarding system in place in order to meet the 'Know Your Customer' (KYC) criteria set by the MOD and MasterCard®."
