Funai Corporation, a U.S. subsidiary of Funai Electric, has been awarded a Wal-Mart Stores Supplier Award of Excellence for the first quarter of 2012

October 12, 2012 - Funai Corporation (President and COO: Ernie Padalino; Headquarters: New Jersey, U.S.), a U.S. subsidiary of Funai Electric Co., Ltd. (President and CEO: Tomonori Hayashi; Headquarters: Daito-City, Osaka, Japan.), has received a Supplier Award of Excellence for the first quarter of 2012 from Wal-Mart Stores, a U.S. division of Wal-Mart Stores, Inc. (Arkansas, U.S.). Each quarter, each Wal-Mart Stores buying team selects one supplier to receive a Supplier Award of Excellence. Selections are based upon a number of performance measurements, and one of the quarterly recipients will also be recognized as a Supplier of the Year.

Funai has received the Supplier Award of Excellence ten times, and was also awarded Wal-Mart's Supplier Collaboration Award earlier this year. Below is a list of Funai's most recent Wal-Mart awards.
