Fras-le announces a new distribution agreement for commercial air brake pads with Haldex at HDAW/18

Increasingly focused on the international market, Fras-le is exhibiting its products portfolio for the heavy duty automotive applications at HDAW 2018 - Heavy Duty Aftermarket Week, from January 22 to 25. The trade fair, known worldwide for providing business meetings between independent distributors and suppliers of parts and services, is taking place in Las Vegas / US.

Fras-le, currently has a manufacturing plant in Prattville-AL and a Sales and Engineering office in Southfield-MI, that enables serving customers quickly and efficiently, which will present high-tech and performance products, such as commercial pads for air and hydraulic brakes and heavy commercial linings for drum brakes. Its participation in the event is also aimed at prospecting new business to expand its share in the North American market.

During the tradeshow, Fras-le will be introducing a new partnership with Haldex, through the co-branding program to sell commercial air brake pads targeting the North American aftermarket. Through this agreement, Haldex will sell products under the 'Midland' brand, undertaking the main sales, marketing and distribution activities. Besides manufacturing the products, Fras-le will provide support through all of its automotive engineering expertise, in addition to supporting Haldex's sales efforts.

'Via this partnership, we are actively maintaining our policy of growing in the foreign market through joining forces with internationally recognized companies', explains Anderson Pontalti, general director of Fras-le Brazil, North America and Asia. He also announced that the product portfolio will be offered to the market through three lines: HD Pro, CV Advanced and Select XT, especially designed to meet the most demanding needs of the commercial vehicle market.

Trade fairs geared to the automotive sector, such as HDAW, which last year hosted more than 300 exhibitors from eight countries and around 2,300 professionals with purchasing power, have enabled Fras-le to consolidate strategies to reach the world's main consumption markets.
