July 3 (Reuters) - Ford on Wednesday reported a slower rise of about 1% in second-quarter sales, as the U.S. auto industry reels from the effects of the CDK cyberattack.

The Detroit automaker sold 536,050 vehicles in the quarter, compared with 531,662 units a year ago. This compares to last year's 10% rise.
