Feng Hsin Steel Co.,Ltd announced earnings results for the third quarter ended September 30, 2020. For the third quarter, the company announced total revenue was TWD 6,551.923 million compared to TWD 6,686.245 million a year ago. Operating income was TWD 881.423 million compared to TWD 421.303 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 764.014 million compared to TWD 361.528 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share was TWD 1.31 compared to TWD 0.62 a year ago. For the nine months, total revenue was TWD 19,689.990 million compared to TWD 20,611.206 million a year ago. Operating income was TWD 2,280.945 million compared to TWD 1,514.405 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 1,915.004 million compared to TWD 1,483.854 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share was TWD 3.29 compared to TWD 2.55 a year ago.
Feng Hsin Steel Co Ltd is a Taiwan-based company principally engaged in the manufacture, processing and trading of steel products. The products of the Company include angle steel, channel steel, steel flats, steel bars, special steel, bar steel, steel rods, formed steel and other steel products, among others. Its formed steel products are applied in construction industry, factory buildings, shipbuilding, transmission and distribution towers, machinery manufacturing, automobile maintenance and lifting equipment, transportation, metal products industry and steel structure, among others. The reinforcement bars are mainly used in construction, civil engineering, structure, foundation and others. Bar steel products are mainly used in screw nuts, polished bars, hand tools, auto parts and others. The Company mainly sells its products in Taiwan and other regions.
