Feng Hsin Steel Co.,Ltd announced earnings results for the second quarter ended June 30, 2020. For the second quarter, the company announced sales was TWD 6,622.880 million compared to TWD 6,898.454 million a year ago. Operating income was TWD 769.488 million compared to TWD 501.599 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 639.491 million compared to TWD 442.836 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share was TWD 1.1 compared to TWD 0.76 a year ago. For the half year, sales was TWD 13,138.067 million compared to TWD 13,924.961 million a year ago. Operating income was TWD 1,399.522 million compared to TWD 1,093.102 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 1,150.990 million compared to TWD 1,122.326 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share was TWD 1.98 compared to TWD 1.93 a year ago.
Feng Hsin Steel Co Ltd is a Taiwan-based company principally engaged in the manufacture, processing and trading of steel products. The products of the Company include angle steel, channel steel, steel flats, steel bars, special steel, bar steel, steel rods, formed steel and other steel products, among others. Its formed steel products are applied in construction industry, factory buildings, shipbuilding, transmission and distribution towers, machinery manufacturing, automobile maintenance and lifting equipment, transportation, metal products industry and steel structure, among others. The reinforcement bars are mainly used in construction, civil engineering, structure, foundation and others. Bar steel products are mainly used in screw nuts, polished bars, hand tools, auto parts and others. The Company mainly sells its products in Taiwan and other regions.
