EM Systems Co., Ltd. (TSE:4820) announces an share repurchase program. Under the program, the company will repurchase 600,000 shares, representing 0.81% of the outstanding shares for ¥500 million. The purpose of the program is to implement a flexible capital policy in response to changes in the business environment, and to enhance capital efficiency. The program will run until September 30, 2020. As of March 31, 2020, the company had 74,063,600 shares outstanding and 2,957,970 shares in treasury.
EM Systems Co Ltd is a Japan-based company mainly engaged in the dispensing systems business, medical systems business, nursing care and welfare systems business, and other businesses. The Company operates in four business segments. The Dispensing Systems segment develops, sells, and maintains systems for pharmacies.
