Elk Petroleum Ltd Provides Update on Construction for the Grieve CO2 EOR Project

Elk Petroleum Ltd. provided the progress of the final field development construction for the Grieve CO2 EOR Project. Key highlights in the progress of construction. Grieve Field oil reservoir now fully repressured with an average bottom hole pressure of 3189 PSI - no further CO2 injection required to commence first oil production. High and Low Pressure Compression Units for CO2 recycle facility have been delivered to site and installed as the main components of the CO2 Recycle Process Facility. First of 3 Oil Production Separator Process Units has been delivered to site and installed in the Central Processing Facility - remaining 2 Oil Production Separator Units are in transit to site. Final Production and Injection Well construction work has commenced and the first of 7 well workovers has been successfully completed and tested.

The principal activities of the Company include development of a carbon dioxide (CO2) enhanced oil recovery (EOR) project (Grieve Project) at the Grieve oil field in Wyoming, the United States; continuation of operations at the Singleton Unit in Nebraska in anticipation of future implementation of an EOR project in the Singleton Unit, and acquisition of the Singleton South oil field in Nebraska focusing on development of potential by-passed oil pool on the southern flank of the Singleton Unit.
