SagiNova® was bought for the Santo Spirito Hospital to offer a valid alternative and addition to external beam radiation therapy. The clinic sees the targeted approach, as well as the shorter treatment times of brachytherapy, as an important therapeutic opportunity, not only for the patients of the surrounding area, but also for those coming from more distant geographical regions with few and rather distant radiotherapy units. The hospital is looking forward to entering the brachytherapy unit into operation within the next days.
