E.A. Technique (M) Berhad Receives Four Contracts by Sungai Udang Portsdn Bhd

The Board of Directors of E.A. Technique (M) Berhad announced that the company has been awarded with four contracts by Sungai Udang PortSdn Bhd vide a Letter of Award dated 22 December 2015 for a total contract value of MYR 26,593,780.00. These contracts have commenced from 1 January, 2016 and shall continue to be valid fora period of 2 years with an option to extend for another one year upon expiry thereof. The contracts awarded are for the provision and operation of two units of 60 tonnes bollard pull harbour tugs, one unit of 40 tonnes bollard pull harbour tug; and one unit multipurpose mooring boat.

Confirmation and/or approval on the award of the contracts were obtained from Sungai Udang PortSdn Bhd on 7 January 2016.

It operates through four segments: Marine transport and Floating Storage Unit / Floating, Storage and Offloading Vessel (FSU/FSO), Port Marine Services, Marine Engineering Services and Others. Its Marine transport and FSU/FSO Vessel segment offer product tankers, which are used to transport refined petroleum products from oil refineries to end-users; storage facility at offshore oil and gas, and fast crew boats, which are primarily used to transport personnel between shore and platform, platform and platform or other offshore facilities. Its Port Marine Services segment provides towage services. Its Marine Engineering services segment is engaged in ship building and ship repairs. Its Others segment includes mooring services activities and shipbuilding.
