Cologne, Nuremberg, 10 August 2015. DO Deutsche Office AG ("Deutsche Office", symbol: PMOX, ISIN: DE000PRME020) announces the signing of a lease for approximately 2,800 square meters ("sqm") of office space in the Sigmund Schuckert Haus at Richard Wagner Platz 1 in Nuremberg. The lease with the State of Bavaria starts on November 1, 2015 and runs for a period of five years.

The property serves primarily as Middle Franconian police headquarters. Police moved into approximately 3,400 sqm of space already in April 2015. The lease for this initial section also runs for five years. The front side of the Sigmund Schuckert Haus facing the highly trafficked street has 600 sqm of retail space under long-term lease.

With the lease to the State of Bavaria the property is now fully occupied. "We laid the foundation for full occupancy at the Sigmund Schuckert Haus in August 2014 when Bavaria signed the initial lease for the first section," says Christoph Kellermann, Head of Letting Management at Deutsche Office. "Concluding a lease for the remaining section just three months after the police headquarters moved in allowed us to return to full occupancy within a very short period of time - a clear indication of the quality of the Sigmund Schuckert Haus itself as well as its location," Christoph Kellermann went on to explain.

The Sigmund Schuckert Haus is on the ring road encircling the historic town center at a prime location halfway between the Plärrer square and the main railway station. The building is directly adjacent to the Nuremberg opera house and State Theater and the building ensemble is bound together by the attractive Opernplatz (Opera Square). Nuremberg's historic old town offers numerous shopping opportunities, restaurants and sights, all of which are just a short walk away. And the Sheraton Carlton, Le Méridien, Ibis, Maritim and MotelOne hotels are all located nearby. The Sigmund Schuckert Haus offers plenty of parking in both the inner courtyard and underground parking garage. Public parking garages are also located nearby.
