Diamond Hill Investment Group Inc. announced changes to its investment leadership, effective January 1, 2015. Austin Hawley, CFA replaced Chris Bingaman, CFA as Co-Chief Investment Officer, sharing this role with Chris Welch, CFA. Hawley joined Diamond Hill as a research analyst in 2008 and has fifteen years of investment experience.

As Co-Chief Investment Officers, Welch and Hawley are primarily responsible for the external communication of Diamond Hill's investment philosophy and process, including direction of client-related investment team efforts and communications, the firm said in a release. Bingaman continues to serve as a portfolio manager and President. Also announced, Jason Downey, CFA and John Loesch, CFA replaced Austin Hawley, CFA and Rick Snowdon, CFA as Co-Directors of Research.

Downey joined Diamond Hill in 2002 and has twelve years of investment experience. Loesch joined Diamond Hill in 2007 and has thirteen years of investment experience. Snowdon continues to serve as portfolio manager.
