Deutsche Wohnen AG (XTRA:DWNI) agreed to acquire 28 residential nursing home facilities and a total of 4,132 beds in West Germany from Berlinovo Immobilien Gesellschaft mbH for approximately €420 million on August 5, 2016. The portfolio currently generates annual rental income in the amount of €27.3 million. The transaction is subject to granting of consent by the supervisory Board of Berlinovo and is subject to competition approval. As of August 24, 2016, transaction was approved by the supervisory Board of Berlinovo. The transfer of the benefits and encumbrances associated with the properties is set to take place in the fourth quarter of 2016. CBRE acted as real estate advisor for Berlinovo.
