Dainichi Co., Ltd. reported earnings results for the nine months ended December 2019. For the period, the company reported net sales of JPY 18,314 million against JPY 18,101 million a year ago. Operating profit was JPY 1,430 million against JPY 1,906 million a year ago. Profit was JPY 1,040 million against JPY 1,345 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share were JPY 64.29 compared to JPY 77.41 a year ago.
The company provided earnings guidance for the year ending March 31, 2020. For the year, the company expects net sales of JPY 20,500 million, operating profit of JPY 640 million and profit of JPY 480 million or JPY 29.66 per basic share.
