SUGAR LAND, Texas, Jan. 7, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- CVR Refining, LP (NYSE: CVRR), a refiner and marketer of petroleum fuels, today announced that Rhonda Speer will become the company's vice president of crude oil supply operations, effective immediately.

Speer had been the director of crude supply and operations for CVR Refining subsidiary Coffeyville Resources Refining & Marketing, LLC.

Speer has more than 30 years of industry experience. Prior to joining the company in 2006, she served as the vice president of crude supply and product marketing for Age Refining, Inc. She has also held various crude oil trading and supply management positions at El Paso Merchant Energy, Unocal Global Trade, Dynegy Crude Gathering and Marketing, and Kerr-McGee Refining Corporation.

Speer holds a bachelor's degree in business administration from the University of Central Oklahoma. In addition, Speer has served on the board of trustees for the Carl McCain Memorial Foundation since 2009.
