The ITS product lines will be consolidated under the leadership of Jeff Price to drive holistic alignment of product lines and increase operational efficiency

SAN DIEGO - Jan. 7, 2020 - Cubic Corporation (NYSE:CUB) today announced its Cubic Transportation Systems (CTS) business division has consolidated the Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) business line under the leadership of Jeff Price, vice president and general manager - ITS. The consolidation brings the GRIDSMART, Trafficware, Transport Management Platform (TMP) and Road User Charging (RUC) product lines under one leader. The change is driven by Cubic's NextCUBIC transformation to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness within the CTS business division.

'The consolidation of our ITS product portfolio under Jeff Price's leadership will enhance our ability to work alongside our global transportation partners in building modern mobility systems that manage congestion and improve safety,' said Jeff Lowinger, president of Cubic Transportation Systems.

The ITS product suite redefines transportation management and delivers insights that will drive mobility as a service (MaaS), an emerging concept linking all modes of transportation, vehicles, transit, bicycle, pedestrians and others, into a single, seamless offering within multiple jurisdictions. The comprehensive product portfolio bridges public transport management technologies, including TMP and RUC solutions, with the arterial traffic control technologies of Trafficware and GRIDSMART products.

Price brings a wealth of knowledge and experience about the ITS industry from an engineer's perspective, having served 13 years at Cubic | GRIDSMART in various positions from principal computer vision engineer, chief technology officer, vice president of technology and vice president and general manager.

Price earned a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology and a bachelor's in Electrical Engineering from the United States Naval Academy. He has also taught as a Research Assistant Professor at the University of Tennessee and worked in Research and Development at Oak Ridge National Laboratory.
