CleanTech Lithium PLC (AIM:CTL, OTCQX:CTLHF) CEO Aldo Boitano and Non-Executive Director Maha Daoudi speak to Thomas Warner from Proactive London after the exploration and development company announced that the final components for its direct lithium extraction (DLE) pilot plant in Copiapó, Chile have arrived in the country.
Boitano gives an overview of progress on the pilot plant, which is poised to produce one tonne per month and is set for commissioning by year's end. This significant development is expected to supply lithium to various manufacturers and trading houses, and support the company in its discussions with potential vendors and end-users.
Daoudi reports on a productive trip to China, where she gained insights on advancements in direct lithium extraction technology and future project prospects. She adds that she's thrilled by the progress Cleantech has made so far this year.
Boitano adds that the pre-Feasibility Study (PFS) for the company's Laguna Verde project remains on track. Looking ahead, Cleantech Lithium PLC will focus on the plant's commissioning, continued community work, and metallurgical testing, all contributing to the PFS.

CleanTech Lithium PLC is a Jersey-based exploration and development company advancing sustainable lithium projects in Chile. The Companyâs assets consist of four prospective lithium projects, spanning approximately 1,250 square kilometers (km2) in the lithium triangle in Chile. Its projects include Laguna Verde, Francisco Basin, Llamara and Salar de Atacama.
