PHILADELPHIA (AP) _ Citizens Holding Co. (CIZN) on Tuesday reported fourth-quarter profit of $2 million.

The Philadelphia-based bank said it had earnings of 35 cents per share.

The bank posted revenue of $13 million in the period. Its revenue net of interest expense was $10.4 million, which beat Street forecasts.

For the year, the company reported profit of $5.9 million, or $1.17 per share. Revenue was reported as $35.4 million.

Citizens shares have decreased almost 2% since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Tuesday, shares hit $21.51, a rise of slightly more than 2% in the last 12 months.
