Chung Hwa Chemical Industrial Works, Ltd. announced earnings results for the first quarter ended March 31, 2021. For the first quarter, the company announced sales was TWD 430.145 million compared to TWD 485.914 million a year ago. Operating income was TWD 27.483 million compared to TWD 10.471 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 37.454 million compared to net loss of TWD 123.618 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 0.35 compared to basic loss per share from continuing operations of TWD 1.12 a year ago.
Chung Hwa Chemical Industrial Works Ltd. is a Taiwan-based company principally engaged in the processing, production and sales of chemical products. The Company mainly provides basic and acidic chemicals, specialty chemicals and electronic chemicals. The basic and acidic chemicals include the sulphuric acid, nicotinic acid, diluted acid, chlorosulfonic acid, aluminium sulfate, refined sulphuric acid, sodium silicate, phosphates and other inorganic chemical products. The specialty chemicals include dyes, pigment intermediates and color developing agents, as well as chemical fiber modified products. The electronic chemicals mainly include electronic grade sulfuric acid and conductive polymer materials.
