Chun Yuan Steel Industry Co., Ltd. announced earnings results for the second quarter ended June 30, 2020. For the second quarter, the company announced sales was TWD 4,484.093 million compared to TWD 4,027.255 million a year ago. Operating income was TWD 87.934 million compared to TWD 49.994 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 92.830 million compared to TWD 73.906 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share was TWD 0.14 compared to TWD 0.11 a year ago. For the half year, sales was TWD 8,632.766 million compared to TWD 7,887.484 million a year ago. Operating income was TWD 155.816 million compared to TWD 77.281 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 152.840 million compared to TWD 100.947 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share was TWD 0.24 compared to TWD 0.16 a year ago.
