China West Construction Group Co. Ltd. has completed the concrete casting of the super large volume of single raft foundation for Glory Xi'an Financial Center Project in Northwest China. To undertake the casting work, CSCEC West Construction had 5 batching plants used with some 140 transportation equipments in operation.

A total of 15,000m3 concrete had been cast in 50 hours on a not-stop basis, with the fastest casting speed of 378m3/h. The average thickness of the cast raft foundation is 4m with the thickest part being 10.4m. The Glory Xi'an Financial Center Project which locates in the Hi-tech Zone of Xi'an City consists of a super high-rise tower of 350m (75 flrs), annex building of 24m (3 flrs) and 4-storey integral basement. With the total building area of 290,000sqm, the Project will become the tallest building in Northwest China upon its completion.
