BUSINESS UPDATE

AWARD OF SHORTLIST SUPPLIER BY BEIJING SMARTCHIP

This announcement is made by TC Orient Lighting Holdings Limited (the "Company", which together with its subsidiaries are collectively referred to as the "Group") on a voluntary basis to keep the shareholders of the Company (the "Shareholders") and potential investors informed of the latest business development of the Company.

The board (the "Board") of directors (the "Directors") of the Company is pleased to announce that following a tender process, Guangdong Tat Chun Electronic Technology Co., Ltd.（廣東達進電子科技有限公司）, a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Group, was awarded a shortlist supplier of printed circuit boards (PCBs) to two projects of single-phase electric meter modules of Beijing Smartchip Microelectronics Technology Company Limited（北京智 芯微電子科技有限公司）("Beijing Smartchip").

Beijing Smartchip is a subsidiary of State Grid Corporation of China（國家電網有限公司） and a total solution provider of smart chips for use in electricity grid, telecommunication and other service areas. The accreditation of the Group as a shortlist supplier of Beijing Smartchip signifies the Group's continuous effort in strengthening the quality level of our products and services. The supplier contracts with Beijing Smartchip are hoped to increase our PCB product sales in the next few years.
