On 7 October, the signing ceremony of China Resources New Materials Xuyi Industrial Park was successfully held in Huai'an City of Jiangsu Province.

Chairman Ji Youhong of CR Cement briefly reviewed the background and situation of cooperation with Xuyi County, Huai'an City during the speech and expressed his sincere gratitude to the People's Government of Huai'an City and Xuyi County for their great attention and support to the industrial park project. He stated that CR Cement was at the stage of strategic transformation during the "Fourteenth Five-Year" period, the Company was thus vigorously deploying and expanding the new materials business domain and building environmentally friendly green mines to march firmly towards the goal of "Building Another China Resources Cement". Chairman Ji emphasized that CR Cement would push forward the construction of the project, formulate long-term development plan, set up a professional R&D team, accelerate the introduction of high-level professionals, incubate and cultivate quality products, continue to open up market and publicize the brand so as to construct a new materials industrial park with Xuyi's characteristics, while assisting the prosperous development of Xuyi's attapulgite-based new materials industry and contributing to the high-quality development of Xuyi County.

Party Committee Secretary of Huai'an City, Chen Zhichang mentioned that Huai'an has been deeply assimilated into the integrated development strategy of Yangtze River Delta and the business environment has been continuously optimized such that the confidence in and the spirit of entrepreneurship of cadres and masses have been effectively boosted. Huai'an City cooperated thoroughly with China Resources Group. The investment of CR Cement in the attapulgite-based new materials industry in Xuyi is another opportunity for the Company's transformation and development, which is also an important investment layout of CR Group in Huai'an. This project enables Xuyi County to transform its resources advantages into industrial advantages, providing strong support to the high-quality development of Huai'an. Secretary Chen requested Huai'an City, Xuyi County, the Commerce Bureau of the Municipal and other relevant departments to offer assisting services to the Company such that the project could be implemented as soon as possible.

Supported with resources such as attapulgite and basalt mines, China Resources New Materials Xuyi Industrial Park planned to construct deep processing industrial park for attapulgite-based new materials and production lines for fine aggregates so as to create a new industrial blueprint that integrates "resources + R&D + industry".
