China Nonferrous Mining Corporation Limited provided consolidated earnings guidance for the year ended December 31, 2017. The board of directors of the company announced that the revenue expected to increase by approximately 40% as compared to the corresponding period in 2016, and the profit attributable to owners of the company is expected to increase substantially to approximately USD 110 million, representing an increase of approximately USD 100 million as compared to the corresponding period in 2016. The Board considers that the anticipated increases in the revenue of the Group and the profit attributable to owners of the Company for the year ended December 31, 2017 are mainly attributable to: increases in production of principal products including blister copper, copper cathodes and sulphuric acid by approximately 9%, 17% and 14%, respectively; increases in sales of principal products including blister copper, copper cathodes and sulphuric acid by approximately 9%, 16% and 22%, respectively; and a year-on-year increase in the 2017 yearly average LME copper price by approximately 27% to USD 6,162 per ton.
