DELAY IN DESPATCH OF CIRCULAR IN RELATION TO PLACING OF NEW SHARES UNDER SPECIFIC MANDATE

Reference is made to the announcement of China Automotive Interior Decoration Holdings Limited (the "Company") dated 16 February 2021 (the "Announcement") in relation to the Placing. Unless otherwise defined, capitalized terms used herein shall have the same meanings as those defined in the Announcement.

As disclosed in the Announcement, a circular (the "Circular") containing, among other matters, (i) further details of the Placing; and (ii) a notice convening the EGM, is expected to be despatched to the Shareholders on or before 12 March 2021.

As additional time is required for the Company to prepare and finalise certain information to be included in the Circular, it is expected that the despatch of the Circular will be delayed to a date on or before 26 March 2021.
