NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) _ Change Healthcare Inc. (CHNG) on Wednesday reported fiscal fourth-quarter net income of $7.1 million, after reporting a loss in the same period a year earlier.

The Nashville, Tennessee-based company said it had profit of 2 cents per share. Earnings, adjusted for one-time gains and costs, were 39 cents per share.

The results fell short of Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of five analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of 43 cents per share.

The health care technology company posted revenue of $920.1 million in the period, topping Street forecasts. Four analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $904.1 million.

For the year, the company reported that its loss narrowed to $57.4 million, or 18 cents per share. Revenue was reported as $3.48 billion.
