ASX Announcement 24 August 2017 Resignation of Managing Director

Centrepoint Alliance Limited today announced that Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer John de Zwart will leave the company in November 2017 after four and a half years with the financial services group.

The Chairman, Alan Fisher, said John leaves the Centrepoint Group in a sound financial position with a strong brand and trusted reputation, and a growing business.

"Under John's leadership, Centrepoint has been transformed into a leader in Australia's financial advice industry with a number of new strategic growth platforms performing well.

"Together with the support of a strong management team, John has led the way in championing a more professional, technologically enabled, and ultimately, a more client-centric way of delivering advice. As a result, Centrepoint is now a trusted partner to around 500 financial planning firms.

"John has decided to take an extended break to spend time with his family and friends, and explore other opportunities in the future."

John de Zwart said it has been a rewarding experience working with the Centrepoint team, its community of advisers, industry peers and the regulators.

"Centrepoint and the broader industry have accomplished a lot over the last four years since FOFA was introduced, and the industry now has the foundations on which to build a strong future."

The Board has engaged an executive recruitment firm to search for his replacement.
