STOCK SHORT NAME AND COMPANY'S WEBSITE

The Board is pleased to announce that the change of name of the Company from "The Hong Kong Building and Loan Agency Limited ࠰ಥܔ܊൲ಛϞࠢʮ̡" to "CCIAM Future Energy Limited ڦঐЭ၁Ϟࠢʮ̡" has become effective on Wednesday, 3 March 2021.

The stock short name of the Company will be changed from "HK BLDG & LOAN" in English and "࠰ಥܔ܊൲ಛ" in Chinese to "CCIAM FUTURE EN" in English and "ڦঐ Э၁" in Chinese, for trading in the Shares on the Stock Exchange with effect from 9:00 a.m. on 12 March 2021. The stock code of the Company on the Stock Exchange will remain unchanged as "00145".

The website of the Company will be changed from "http://www.hkbla.com.hk" to "http://www.ccfe.com.hk" with effect from 12 March 2021.

Reference is made to the announcement of CCIAM Future Energy Limited (formerly known as The Hong Kong Building and Loan Agency Limited) (the "Company") dated 25 January 2021, the circular of the Company dated 29 January 2021 (the "Circular") and the announcement of the Company dated 22 February 2021 relating to the poll voting result at the extraordinary general meeting (the "EGM") held on 22 February 2021, in relation to, among other things, the proposed change of name of the Company (the "Change of Company Name"). Unless the context otherwise requires, capitalised terms used in this announcement shall have the same meanings as those defined in the Circular.

CHANGE OF COMPANY NAME

The Company is pleased to announce that, following the approval of the Change of Company Name by the Shareholders by way of special resolution at the EGM, the Companies Registry in Hong Kong has issued the Certificate of Change of Name dated 3 March 2021 confirming the Change of Company Name from "The Hong Kong Building and Loan Agency Limited ࠰ ಥܔ܊൲ಛϞࠢʮ̡" to "CCIAM Future Energy Limited ڦঐЭ၁Ϟࠢʮ̡" has become effective on 3 March 2021.

CHANGE OF STOCK SHORT NAME

The stock short name of the Company will be changed from "HK BLDG & LOAN" in English and "࠰ಥܔ܊൲ಛ" in Chinese to "CCIAM FUTURE EN" in English and "ڦঐЭ၁ "in Chinese, for trading in the Shares on the Stock Exchange with effect from 9:00 a.m. on 12 March 2021. The stock code of the Company on the Stock Exchange will remain unchanged as "00145".

EFFECT ON CHANGE OF COMPANY NAME

The Change of Company Name will not affect any of the rights of the Shareholders. All existing share certificates of the Company in issue bearing the previous name of the Company will continue to be evidence of title to shares of the Company and will remain to be valid for trading, settlement, registration and delivery purposes. Accordingly, there will not be any arrangement for free exchange of the existing share certificates of the Company for new share certificates bearing the new name of the Company. New share certificates of the Company will be issued in the new name of the Company.

CHANGE OF COMPANY WEBSITE

The website of the Company will be changed from "http://www.hkbla.com.hk" to "http://www.ccfe.com.hk" with effect from 12 March 2021. All announcements, notices or other documents to be submitted by the Company for publication on the Stock Exchange's website will also be published on this new website of the Company.
