Fraud Alert: Phone fraud schemes are on the rise with elaborate efforts being taken to deceive you, the customer, in to believing the call is coming from a representative of a trusted service provider, including Canandaigua National Bank & Trust. While on the call, the fraudsters attempt to collect personal information including account numbers, account balance, birthdates, and/or social security numbers. In most of these instances, the caller wants to deliver a one-time pass code to your cell phone to verify your account, which is really an entry to access your account.

Please Note: If you have not recently made a change to your banking behaviors, are not expecting a call from a CNB representative, or if you are uncomfortable with a call you receive, simply ask the representative for their name and let them know you will be calling them back at one of the bank's published phone numbers to continue the conversation. If you feel that you may have provided information to a fraudulent caller, please contact our customer call center at (585) 394-4260.
