The animated e-cards feature a number of traditional Chinese auspicious symbols in vivid colours, including blooming flowers, bouncing fishes, agile snakes and flying dragons, to express the New Year wishes to the public. People can access BOCHK's website at www.bochk.com to send these enchanting e-cards with heart-warming blessings to their friends and relatives in celebration of the New Year.

In addition, among the collection of printed matter produced by BOCHK, the wall calendars and lucky red money envelopes are stamped with a golden Chinese character fook, meaning "good fortune", while the snake-themed calendar cards and elegant diaries display a perfect blend of creative and functional qualities. All of these items are printed with Forest Stewardship Council certified paper, in an effort to help protecting the environment.

The theme of snake of the BOCHK's desktop calendars also echoes the Chinese Lunar New Year of Snake. Designed by renowned designers Mr Hon Bing-wah and Ms So Man-yee with their exceptional artistic skills, the calendars demonstrate the characteristics of snake of agility, discernment and nimbleness. The BOCHK's desktop calendars designed by Mr Hon and Ms So over the years from 2006 have received numerous honours in the prestigious Astrid and Mercury Awards.
