Africa Hydrocarbons Inc. announced that Andrew Male, director, and Jeffrey Stevens, Corporate Secretary, have resigned from the company. The company is also announced that two new directors and a corporate secretary will be joining the company. Effective immediately Mr. Douglas Wu and Mr. Sergei Stetsenko will join the board of directors of AHI and Pamela White has been appointed as the Company's Corporate Secretary. Douglas Wu has over thirty years of experience in private equity/venture capital and hedge fund investing both in the US and internationally. Mr. Wu has assisted portfolio companies in increasing returns on equity and realizing shareholder value through exits to both strategic and financial acquirers. Mr. Wu is Managing Partner of Whitwell Partners Senior Advisor to a family office, an active angel investor, and former director of an acquisitive holding company in the financial services sector as well as several natural resource companies. He was formerly Managing Director/Head of Private Equity of Rothschild Emerging Markets LLC/Croesus Capital Management. Mr. Stetsenko is financier and specialist with 20 years of experience in private equity and venture capital investments. He has raised over $100 million for companies which have been involved in various business segments including natural resources, technology, alternative investments, communications, biotech and healthcare. Ms. White has 30 years of experience in the TSX Venture Exchange industry, including working as a senior securities legal assistant for over 15 years at Vancouver based legal firms and managing a number of publicly traded companies. Ms. White is currently the Corporate Secretary to a number of other Canadian public companies, providing corporate compliance and regulatory filing consulting services through her personally owned private company, established in 2006.
