Bic Camera Inc. announced consolidated earnings results for the first quarter ended November 30, 2020. For the quarter, the company's net sales were JPY 200,552 million compared to JPY 216,409 million a year ago. Operating income was JPY 3,754 million compared to JPY4,249 million a year ago. Profit attributable to owners of parent was JPY 2,112 million compared to JPY 2,849 million a year ago. Net income per share was JPY 12.01 compared to JPY 16.19 a year ago. Diluted Net income per share was JPY 12.00 compared to JPY 16.19 a year ago.
BIC CAMERA INC. is a Japan-based company engaged in the sale of goods such as audio-visual products, home appliances and information communication equipment products. Audio-visual products include cameras, televisions, recorder & video cameras, as well as audio products, among others. Home appliances include refrigerators, washing machines, cooking appliances, seasonal appliances, and beauty appliances. Information communication equipment products include personal computers, personal computer peripherals, computer software, and mobile phones.
