Innovation, IDEA LAB, Office Trends,

It took only 17 days to build the Office of the Future. In this period, no concrete needed to be mixed, and not a single wood chip fell to the ground. The building was printed with a 6 meter high and 46 meter long 3-D printer. Fully functioning and equipped with electricity, water, telecommunications and air conditioning, it is the first office in the world to be built in this manner.

Location: Dubai, United Arab Emirates
Size: 145 m2
Year: 2016
Architects: Gensler, Thornton Tomasetti, Syska Hennessy

The interior is just as innovative. The office is both a home for project team members and a meeting point for international guests. Here, communication and teamwork take centre stage. At the heart of the office lies the Bene IDEA LAB and a space concept that encourages workshops and creativity. A key component of the Lab is the IDEA WALL, an interactive media wall that enables up to seven people to work on digital and analogue content. The furniture families TIMBA and PARCS are the ideal addition for an innovative setting.

The idea of 3-D printing buildings was once a dream, but today it has become a reality. With the world's first 3-D office, and a sophisticated and fully functioning building, we have created a milestone in the construction and real estate sectors.

Professionalism under palm trees.

The conference room was equipped with FILO and AL, modern furnishing systems which ensure a pleasant business environment. PARCS Dock-in Bays allow for privacy and focused work. The Office of the Future will soon be flanked by the no less ambitious Museum of the Future - a forge for ideas, innovations and inspiration. The future, it appears, is already here. And we at Bene are proud to be part of it.
