Barco provides traffic control rooms around the world with highly reliable visualization systems to keep traffic moving. Want to see our systems at work? Intertraffic 2014, at the Amsterdam RAI (the Netherlands), is the place to be this week. We'll be showcasing our traffic management solutions at the booths of Kapsch TrafficCom AG (hall 10, booth 120) and STRABAG Anlagentechnik (hall 11, booth 827), two Austrian technology experts with an excellent track record in traffic systems.

Networked visualization
At their Intertraffic 2014 booths, Kapsch TrafficCom AG and STRABAG Anlagentechnik GmbH will gladly demonstrate how our video walls, user-friendly controllers and wall management software clearly display real-time signals from sensors, vehicle GPS systems and other intelligent transportation systems. While at the Kapsch stand you'll see our 2x2 LED-lit OL-521 video wall, STRABAG Anlagentechnik, for its part, has installed a 2x2 LCD NSL-5521 display system. Both set-ups include our CMS (control room management software) and TransForm N networked controllers, which allow the flexible distribution of numerous video and data sources - not only within the control center but also worldwide, over the existing TCP/IP network.

Getting up to speed
Featuring an inspiring and informative program of workshops, seminars, debates and presentations, and with over 800 exhibitors, the biannual Intertraffic trade fair is the ideal place to get up to speed with trends and developments in the rapidly changing world of traffic. The show opens today, Tuesday 25 March (running through till Friday) and expects around 26,000 visitors.
