With regard to the solicitation of the calculating and publishing entities of prototype rates for Term Reference Rates (Swap) running from October 29, 2019, the Secretariat reported that it has currently received applications from a certain number of entities that have experience with calculation and publishing benchmarks. The solicitation paper described that, if the call for application is to be closed, it will be informed on the Bank of Japan's website in advance. The Secretariat proposed to the Committee to close the call for application on December 31, 2019 and to announce this on the Bank of Japan's website, and the members approved this proposal.
