Asta Funding, Inc. (NasdaqGS:ASFI) acquired the remaining 20% stake in Pegasus Funding LLC from Pegasus Legal Funding, LLC for $2 million on January 12, 2018. Asta Funding acquired 200 units of Pegasus Funding. Out of total consideration, Pegasus Legal Funding will pay $0.22 million to outside investors who provided funding to Pegasus Funding. Steven I. Adler of Mandelbaum, Salsburg, Gold, Lazris & Discenza P.C. acted as legal advisor for Asta Funding and Andrew Nitkewicz of Cullen and Dykman acted as legal advisor for Pegasus Legal Funding. Asta Funding, Inc. (NasdaqGS:ASFI) completed the acquisition of the remaining 20% stake in Pegasus Funding LLC from Pegasus Legal Funding, LLC on January 12, 2018.

The Company operates through four segments: Consumer Receivables, Personal Injury Claims, Structured Settlements and GAR Disability Advocates.
